Our Vision Statement:
Our vision is to serve the students in hundreds of Northern Ugandan schools in a partnership with American schools to foster a common understanding of each other’s culture. We desire to supply the inadequate classrooms of Ugandan schools which are most often barren of any textbooks or supplies. We will accomplish this as a partnership of students, teachers, families, and communities, working together.
Our Mission Statement:
Turn the Page Uganda is a non-governmental organization led by volunteers to provide books to schools in Northern Uganda in order to raise the educational level of students who will need to compete in a global culture and economy.
Financial Philosophy
Every dollar we earn is directly used to fund the activities and services of the program, with no money being allocated towards administrative costs like salaries or fundraising expenses. Board members pay their own way to Uganda.
